’19 Kids and Counting’: Jill Duggar Dillard defends parents in Megyn Kelly interview
In some interview portions for this second part sent out via Us Weekly, you can already see that Jill is coming to the defense of her parents in how they handled the news about Josh’s actions. In her words, they took a variety of steps to ensure her and her sisters’ safety within their home:
“[They put] locks on the doors … You know, everybody’s in bed. Girls in the girls’ room. Boys in the boys’ room — as a mother now I look back, and I think, you know, my parents did such an amazing job for me. Even when we went through the DHS investigation they complimented my parents on what an amazing job they did through that process.”
We have heard a variety of opinions across the board on the Duggars over the past ten days or so, and for now it appears that the interview is not swaying anyone one way or another. From a TV standpoint, what remains bizarre is the relative silence TLC has taken on the subject of “19 Kids and Counting.” This show has been removed from the air, but is still not canceled officially. We honestly thought the network would opt to cut bait sooner rather than later, just to remove themselves from the equation entirely.
