‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 6: ‘A’ finally knows their own identity!

Who is “A” on “Pretty Little Liars“? We have seen a variety of different incarnations of the character over the years, from “Big A” to the “A Team” to now “Uber A,” who is the person still held in at least a certain amount of mystery. Charles is somehow wrapped into this, though their name may not actually be Charles at all.

While we cannot speculate too much about this just yet, show creator Marlene King has finally confirmed something most exciting on Twitter: Whoever is playing “A” finally knows the truth! That means that someone on the show’s set is holding a really big secret, and gets to play around with that for the rest of the season. Not only that, but they can possibly inform their performance somewhat with this knowledge in mind.

While this is all tremendously exciting, is there a clue in here that “A” is a major cast member? The word “finally” could be interpreted as a clue, but at the same time, we’re keeping all options open. We’ve been tricked enough times already about the identity of “A” that we’re not ruling anything out at the moment.

The only thing we feel fairly confident about at the moment is that we will know the identity of the “A” behind all (or at least most) before we get to the series finale of the show. That means in turn a little bit of time learning some more information, and also having a concrete villain to look at rather than some mystery figure we are stuck sitting around and speculating about.
