‘The Fosters’ season 3, episode 1 video: The first sign of trauma in ‘Wreckage’
As you are familiar, the second season of “The Fosters” ended with what was a truly shocking development, watching a car crash unfold that more than likely took at least one life. Given that Jake T. Austin has departed the series, it is fair to speculate that Jesus is the possible fatality.
The newest preview for Monday night’s season 3 premiere features heavily some of how Lena and Stef are handling what happened on an emotional level; namely, they are both extremely anxious about Brandon getting out on the road. As we mentioned, we certainly understand why they would be having some anxiety given the circumstances. They don’t want to see anything happen to him, and the roads are still extremely dangerous even for experienced drivers (and Brandon is still hardly that).
The fact that Stef and Lena are concerned is simply yet another measure for how much the two of them care more than anything else; we already know that they could have a challenging season ahead based on some other developments that happened at the end of the second season. “The Fosters” is not strictly a show about struggle; instead, it’s more about how people move on past the hand that they are dealt. The pain of the crash is not going to go away in a day.
We are going to have so much more in the way of updates when it comes to the series in the near future, so be sure to stay tuned for more on that.
