‘Game of Thrones’ season 5, episode 9 spoilers: See Emilia Clarke in new ‘A Dance with Dragons’ photo

How long is Hizdahr zo Loraq going to stay put on “Game of Thrones“? As a way to establish closer ties to the city of Meereen, Dany decided that she was going to marry him. However, at the same time we wonder if the presence of Tyrion Lannister in the city is going to change things to a certain extent. He adds another dimension to her world, especially since he has made her potentially consider whether or not she has stayed too long in the city already. In some ways, him questioning her about it during “Hardhome” may have her thinking about that already.

The attached photo is from Sunday night’s “A Dance of Dragons,” which could be one of the most significant episodes for her character in some time. We are watching her oversee here potentially a violent town tradition, and this is one that Ser Jorah could also be present for after his creepy attempt to rejoin the service at the end of this past episode.

What will become of this scene should be interesting, especially since this is the portion of the season where things start to truly hit the fan a little bit. There is only one installment coming up after it, and the purpose of this one should for the most part be setting up the story of season 6, which is getting set to film this summer.

Now, let’s just cross our fingers that the final two episodes ultimately set up a situation that gets Dany closer to some of our other familiar faces in King’s Landing and other parts of Westeros.
