‘Fuller House’: Don’t expect Bob Saget to try and recruit the Olsen Twins
While Bob Saget may officially now be a part of Netflix’s upcoming “Fuller House,” don’t take that as any sort of sign that he will actually play a helping hand in ensuring that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen actually sign on now for the show. These two decided a while back that they did not want to reprise their role of Michelle, and they are instead continuing their career as fashion mavens in New York. Acting’s no longer a priority for either one of them, but they have instead figured out how to have a rather impressive career for themselves.
So with this in mind, Saget’s not going to be pushing them to appear. While at the premiere of “Entourage” (a franchise he has appeared in over the years) in California, the comedian told Us Weekly that he will continue to keep in touch with the twins (who he has remained close with over the years) without having them around on the small screen again: “I’ll see them in New York … We’re friends. People need to do what they want to do. They’re very busy in their world that has nothing to do with being on Fuller House.”
Of course, we’d be absolutely thrilled if there was ever a chance to get the twins to appear on the show, but in the end it’s probably not happening. Instead, just remember that Candace Cameron Bure, Andrea Barber, Dave Coulier, and many others have signed on to the show, and you have a ton to look forward to when it premieres.
We imagine that we’ll be hearing plenty on the series when it gets a little closer to it premiering. Stay tuned.
