‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star Kyle Richards getting show inspired by her life
Clearly, Kyle Richards has quite a career for herself already on television. She is one of the more notable members and personalities on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” and really has in some capacity been an anchor on the show from the very beginning. Therefore, it shouldn’t be a surprise that this exposure has led to her getting a chance to dip her feet into the scripted TV avenue … at least as an executive producer.
It was announced today that Richards is working with TV Land on developing a show based loosely on her life. Rather than this being a play on the Bravo series, though, it has based more on her upbringing, growing up with her sister and her mother Kathy Hilton. In a statement first announcing the news and her collaboration with John Wells Productions, Richards had the following to say per TheWrap:
“I am extremely excited and proud to be collaborating with such a talented and creative team of John Wells Productions, John Riggi, Warner Bros. Television and TV Land to bring this story to life.”
TV Land has a good relationship with the Housewives already, at least in that Orange County Housewife Heather Dubrow has appeared on “Hot in Cleveland,” and the network as a whole is a go-to destination for stars who have some sort of sizable experience on TV already. Richards of course acted in a variety of projects leading up to being a fixture on the Bravo show, which should return later this year.
