For the most part, the folks over at AMC have succeeded when it comes at least to one major aspect of “Fear the Walking Dead“: Coming most of the story secret. Save for a promo and a few little teases here and there, that is all that has really been given away for the time being.
Even when we do have some more casting information, which is what we are precisely bringing to the table today, it comes still under a slight veil of secrecy. As first reported via Deadline, Sandrine Holt of “The Returned” has signed on to play the part of Dr. Bethany Exner … which is almost all we know about her other than that she is “very skilled” and certainly qualified to be in her position. Granted, what we’re still curious about here is rather simple: Just what in the world is she going to be doing within the lens of this show? We imagine that there are many tremendous challenges coming up for her, as she has to try to figure out how to stay afloat as a part of this difficult and challenging world.
We know that the show picks up around the time of the original zombie outbreak, and we are going to see many people struggling to really deal with all of the changes. Cliff Curtis and Kim Dickens are the two stars of the series.
While there has been no official premiere date yet for “Fear the Walking Dead,” we imagine that it will most-likely premiere in August.
