NBC’s ‘Hannibal’ season 3 spoilers: The story for Hugh Dancy, cast in ‘Secondo’
The folks over at “Hannibal” and NBC have been very kind when it comes to sharing some details about the early season 3 episodes. For example, we’ve already gotten a chance to here some news in regards to “Antipasto” and “Primavera,” the first two installments of this Italian cuisine-themed season. (We’re only talking in terms of titles here, people … though Lecter is actually going to spend some time in at least Europe this season.)
What we have for you now below are some of the latest details in regards to “Secondo,” which is ironically the third episode of the season airing on June 18. The synopsis below makes it clear that Will Graham has not found Hannibal yet, and is continuing his search by going all the way to where the killer first grew up. Meanwhile, this episode may give us some of our first real taste of Jack Crawford this season, who has been through quite a bit ever since that brutal fight with Hannibal at the end of season 2:
“Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) continues his search for Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen), making his way to Hannibal’s childhood home in Lithuania. Once there he meets the mysterious Chiyoh (Tao Okamoto), former attendant to Hannibal’s aunt. Meanwhile, Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne) arrives in Italy, hoping to find Will and intervene before tragedy strikes again, and Bedelia (Gillian Anderson) warns Hannibal against unraveling his new life.”
Yes, Hannibal would be very smart to take the heed of Bedelia’s warning, but we’re not sure that he is capable of really listing. This is a man stocked to the brim with hubris, and hiding in the shadows completely is not his style.
