‘Heroes: Reborn’ spoilers: Sendhil Ramamurthy officially returning as Mohinder

Heroes -We suspected that we may not be done with Dr. Mohinder Suresh for some time on “Heroes: Reborn,” but it was never made official … at least until now.

According to a new report coming in from Deadline, Sendhil Ramamurthy is officially going to be coming back for an arc on the NBC revival of the Tim Kring series. He was a significant part of the first four seasons, and Mohinder was one of the first people who really tried to start to understand what was going on with many of them. He joins a group of returning actors including Jack Coleman (HRG), Greg Grunberg (Matt Parkman), Masi Oka (Hiro Nakamura), and Jimmy-Jean Louis (The Haitian). Strangely, no female cast members have officially agreed to reprise their role from the original series.

“Heroes: Reborn” is slated to come on the air this fall, and the story for it has been kept for the most part extremely quiet. We don’t expect Mohinder to be in every episode, but it is at least another reminder of the sort of show that this used to be. As we’ve said before, let’s just hope that all of this time off the air is going to help the show get back to doing some of what made it great in the first place, and help it to ensure that it avoids some of the pitfalls from the third and fourth season when things really started to go downhill.

While production is currently underway on the series, we do feel like there is still a little bit of time for some other guest characters to be announced. Stay tuned, as we’ll have a little more news on that subject as it starts to become available.
