‘The Bachelorette’ podcast: On Kaitlyn Bristowe’s first solo show, Britt Nilsson, Brady Toops with Jessa

This past week, we had a chance to watch what was the first full week of dates for Kaitlyn Bristowe as “The Bachelorette,” and it was every bit as crazy as we expected it to be. Thanks to this, we had quite a bit to discuss in our latest podcast all about the show!

In the audio clip below, you can listen to CarterMatt Co-Founders Matt Carter and Jessa talking a little bit about some of the shenanigans that took place during the episode, and also some of the headlines that have come from its wake. Specifically here, we are talking about the news that Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff are already no more, and also the news that Britt Nilsson and Brady Toops are apparently still together despite only starting to get to know each other on the show. He made the romantic gesture to go see her at the hotel, and the rest is history.

In terms of the show itself, here are a few specific things we touch on.

1. How terrible the boxing date was for us in terms of actually being romantic.

2. Kupah James, and some of the comments that he made about the show as well as Kaitlyn before seemingly departing (we do still have that cliffhanger).

3. Whether or not Clint Arlis is a serious contender to go extremely far into the season after his first one-on-one date.

4. If Amy Schumer really delivered. Somehow we didn’t touch on whether or not she could really be the Bachelorette after all of that Twitter scuttlebutt … but trust us when we say it’s not happening.
