‘Once Upon a Time’ season 5: A hope for the future with Jiminy
If we were to make a list of the “Once Upon a Time” characters we most want to see back in a larger way for the fifth season, Jiminy Cricket / Archie would be at the top of the list. We’ve always liked Raphael Sbarge for one, and he was one of the those interesting characters like Grumpy and Mulan who are technically still a part of the universe, even though we never really see or hear much from them.
So what we personally find to be rather interesting at the moment is that if nothing else, there was a hope to at least use Archie’s fairy-tale persona of Jiminy Cricket at one point during the season 4 finale. Executive producer Adam Horowitz confirmed this in a post on Twitter, where he shared a tiny tease of the script while saying that budgetary issues are the only real reason why this fell through and didn’t happen.
However, there is still hope to see more of him in the future! The problem here is that other than Dark Swan, there’s not exactly much confirmed for the fifth season just yet, and one of the biggest reasons for that may just be that all parties involved are still in the planning process. We also still have many weeks to go before production even begins.
Of course, have no fear: We’ll be bringing you some of the latest details and updates on the series virtually the moment that they become available. Stay tuned!

While I agree with Zelina getting killed off, I think Robin Hood is a good addition to Regina’s character and pushes the question, how far will she go for him…
But DEFINITELY bring back Mulan, Ariel and the fantastic Ruby!!

I doubt there’s much to look forward to in S5 other than more bad writing, retroactive continuity and the worst soap story line ever.
