‘Legends of Tomorrow’ spoilers: Another side of Captain Cold?

Within the CW – DC Comics universe, there are clearly a wide array of characters, heroes, and villains. Occasionally, we someone have a chance to wear many hats. Malcolm Merlyn has done it, and we are now getting close to seeing something similar in the near future from Captain Cold. To a certain extent, we’ve seen this on “The Flash,” but the upcoming “Legends of Tomorrow” could take this to a whole new level for Leonard Snart.

Is it possible that, when teamed up with a variety of heroes, Snart starts to absorb at least some of their traits? It feels like it, based somewhat on what Wentworth Miller had to say to Entertainment Weekly:

“In his relationship with his sister, you see he does have a heart. And there are people that he’s willing to put ahead of himself, so now that he’s aligned with these good guys, for better or worse, they’re going to start influencing him and his way of thinking. I’m excited to explore his shades of gray so we see he’s not just a villain, he’s a man.”

So long as there is the proper character development to get Snart to the point where his cold heart starts to thaw ever-so-slightly, we’re happy. We just don’t want to see some sort of goodness come out on nowhere, to the point that it doesn’t make sense for the character anymore.

While Cold is a main character on “Legends of Tomorrow,” don’t worry if you like him on “The Flash”: He’ll still be around, and could even still turn up on “Arrow” before everything ends.
