‘Bones’ season 10, episode 21 preview: Could Angela and Hodgins leave?

When it comes to the Angela character on “Bones,” next week’s penultimate episode of the show entitled “The Life in the Light” may ultimately be a case of both good news and bad news. Let’s start here with the positive: We may finally learn Angela’s real name! For those of you who love the little character reveals with the show, this could be a fun one.

However, the idea of her and Hodgins potentially leaving is something that we understand being somewhat worried about. While we believe that they will be back for season 11, what we feel the show could be doing here is a classic case of setting things up for a potential finale cliffhanger. In the event that the show did not come back, you would be leaving the characters with the feeling that they had some great closure, and they were moving forward in order to do some other tremendous things. Yet, they still could be around to do some more tremendous things around the Jeffersonian, as well.

Without getting too meta or driving ourselves too insane with this debate, let’s just go ahead and share the synopsis for this particular episode below:

“When the remains of an ex-con and biker gang member-turned-yoga instructor is found in the aftermath of a forest fire, the team must navigate both worlds from the victim’s past to find the killer. Meanwhile, Booth continues working hard to beat his gambling addiction and regain Brennan’s trust, and Angela and Hodgins make a big decision that will impact their future.”
