‘Bachelor in Paradise’ spoilers: Could cast reveal come earlier than expected?

Could ABC be doing something completely different when it comes to the upcoming season of “Bachelor in Paradise“? If they are, we certainly would not blame them! This is a series that has yet to start filming, but it should begin soon in anticipation of its premiere later this summer.

Based on the tweet below from executive producer Mike Fleiss, it appears to us very strongly that he is considering actually revealing the cast of the show before filming even gets started in a serious way. Why do this? The easy answer is maybe this is a new way of combating spoilers. How can they defeat you if you are out there spoiling the show yourself?

Granted, we don’t exactly think spoiling a cast for “Bachelor in Paradise” is much of a big deal at all given that you do want to know who is going to be on the show as an incentive to watch. The challenge this series may have is getting enough big-ticket personalities. Our feeling is that any person who feels like they have a serious chance of being the Bachelor or the Bachelorette in the future will not want to do it, and the same can be said for people who had a less-than-favorable experience the first time around. We doubt that any of the final three from Kaitlyn Bristowe’s current season of “The Bachelorette” will be on, mostly because there’s not really a whole lot of time in between.

Even if there are some cast members revealed by Fleiss in the next week, it still probably won’t be the entire crew. Remember here that this show throws in new people as time goes on, just so that they can continue to stir the pot and create new potential pairings.

If nothing else, maybe this news can help make some forget a little that recent Bachelor Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff just announced their split yesterday.
