‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 3: First news on ‘The Beast of Wall Street’

The latest -Isn’t it nice to know that “Beauty and the Beast” is going to be premiering just two weeks from Thursday? Sure, it may be somewhat sad when you think that The CW had originally-scheduled the series to be premiering last week, but things change over time and you just have to handle that.

Luckily, we do at least have the first official details now on the upcoming premiere “The Beast of Wall Street,” which contains many elements that we have seen teased / hinted about in various promos. For example, we learned a while back that Vincent was going to be at least pondering whether or not he wanted to propose to Catherine, and also that he was going to try at least to embrace a more normal life than the one he has had as of late. As the synopsis below (via SpoilerTV) indicates, however, that may not be possible for him:

“With the happy couple seeming to be enjoying an ordinary life, Vincent (Jay Ryan) thinks the timing might finally be right to pop the question until Cat (Kristin Kreuk) stumbles on an extraordinary case with the FBI involving somebody who goes on a superhuman rampage. Though reluctant to engage with the case for fear of losing the normality he has found, Vincent finds himself with no other options when Cat is injured after discovering that someone is drugging innocent victims and transforming them into super-humans. Meanwhile, Tess (Nina Lisandrello) accuses JT (Austin Basis) of stalling his recovery as he tries to understand how he’s still alive.”

Think of this episode as a solid foundation, one that is going to be further built upon as we start to get further and further into the third season. Without Vincent embracing some of his powers to a certain extent, you just don’t get that same exact level of intensity.
