‘Britain’s Got Talent’ spoilers: Revelation Avenue, Michael Late, Old Man Grooving in second live show
Tonight’s “Britain’s Got Talent” is the second live show of the season, and while there were some good acts last night, we hope that this coming one produced a greater element of consistency. Remember that last night the British public chose to vote Lorraine Bowen into fourth place despite being completely out of her mind.
In looking at the list of performers on Tuesday, we do think that there are four in here that have a pretty decent chance of making it through to the next round. We’ll share more at the bottom of this article.
Alison Jiear – She is a very talented singer, but what we would be worried about for her right now is just that singing acts are not in as high demand anymore.
Bonetics – It’s crazy what this guy can do. It’s a skill that requires years of training! However, some out there will think of it as gross.
Groove Thing – They’re a good dance group, but their biggest disadvantage may just be coming on the air after the excellent Entity Allstars. For now, they have the title of strongest crew in the competition.
Jules O’Dwyer & Matisse – The best dog act on this show since Ashleigh & Pudsey, and it’s clear that he has been trained really well. This is all going to be about what sort of story is given to the performance.
Luca Calò – He’s like a David Walliams Golden Buzzer act minus the Golden Buzzer! We cannot imagine that he’s going to be going through to the next round.
Michael Late – Fun Austrian magician. There are not many magic acts this season, so we’ll take any that we can.
Old Men Grooving – The super-fun dance group. While not a revelation, they were incredibly entertaining.
Revelation Avenue – They are a revelation; it’s in their name! This is Amanda Holden’s Golden Buzzer act.
The HoneyBuns – A fun / campy singing group. We’re not sure that they are going to be able to come across as current, but they’re great for this show.
In talking more about who those four could be, we’re saying at the moment that Old Men Grooving, Revelation Avenue, Michael Late, and Jules O’Dwyer & Matisse all have a shot. Maybe Groove thing does, as well, but for a show with great diversity it would be weird for two out of the first four finalists to be dance crews featuring young kids.
