‘Fear the Walking Dead,’ ‘Halt and Catch Fire,’ and more teased in new AMC video

While “Mad Men” may be gone for good and “Better Call Saul” is done at least for the rest of the season, AMC still seems to be very much invested in letting you know one thing at the moment: They still have a ton of good stuff on the pipeline!

In the video HERE, you can get at least some brief teasers / reminders of all of the good stuff that is coming later this year. This includes the season 2 premiere of “Halt and Catch Fire” a week from Sunday, and then also some other goodies including “Hell on Wheels,” “Fear the Walking Dead” (premiering later this summer), and some brand-new shows like “Into the Badlands” and “Humans.” Oh, and of course there is also the flagship “The Walking Dead” returning this fall.

We imagine that at least pushing forward into the near future, one of the biggest challenges for AMC as a network is going to be finding that new show to catch fire (reference to the Lee Pace series intended). It’s going to be hard to capture lightning in a bottle again in the way that they did “Mad Men” and “Breaking Bad,” but hopefully some of the series that they do have now are very good in their own right. They are going to need to come out with an innovative premise, and then wow almost right away when it comes to anything from storytelling to performances.

Of course, we will have news on many of these shows throughout the year. Stay tuned for more on that!
