‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 6 spoilers: See Angie Harmon, Sasha Alexander in new promo!

Excited to see some more cases cracked on “Rizzoli & Isles”? Then we come bearing some good news: The return of the show is not too far away! Tuesday, June 16 is the official premiere date, and 9:00 p.m. Eastern is the time.

We are not going to lie to you and tell you that the promo below is one stuffed full of significant character revelations and moments that you absolutely need to see in order to understand the show better. Instead, it is more akin to some TV comfort food. You are reminded in a way of what you liked about this show, and that is the fun interactions between these characters and the relationship that they have with each other. If you’ve enjoyed Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander’s work so far, then it is pretty easy to figure out that you will once again here.

Structurally, we imagine that this season will have something similar to past years, where the bulk of the season runs in the summer. Given that the 18-episode season 6 is the longest order it has received to date, you will probably have more episodes in the second part of the season, which will likely premiere either in late 2015 or early 2016.

Of course, let us take a moment here to share what is a network-YouTube-account pet peeve: When you have promos that are only twenty seconds long, and are then followed by what is basically an advertisement to subscribe to the channel. You start to think that you are going to get something close to a full trailer, only to have it end much earlier than you probably want for it to!
