‘Britain’s Got Talent’ preview: Simon Cowell and the judges deliberate!

While there are some auditions left to showcase on “Britain’s Got Talent” Saturday, there is also going to be one other important order of business during this episode: The deliberation by the judges. They have to figure out who among the acts not given a golden buzzer are deserving of making it through to the next round.

Of course, the question that you are left to wonder for the time being is this: Is there any real drama with something like the preview video below? We’d argue that for the most part, there’s not. The majority of the genuinely good acts that you have seen to this point are probably going to get through, while the majority of the bad acts who got through will not. There will be a few campy ones that make it onto the live show, and then will either get buzzed off or eliminated very quickly.

Ultimately, we’ll get our roster together for the live shows this week, where the remaining hopefuls will do their best to prove that they are worthy of the Royal Variety. We anticipate a final of mostly singers and dancers, though, which is not so much “variety” since we get that every single season.

Yet, we do continue to watch and live the show. We do give much of the credit for that to the rare act that does surprise us, and also how much we love one of our personal reality TV spirit animals in David Walliams, who relentlessly trolls Simon like no one else can.
