Two more join “American Crime Story” – The cast for this series just continues to expand. While we know that Sarah Paulson, Cuba Gooding Jr., John Travolta, and David Schwimmer are some of the key players on this show, we also know now that Bruce Greenwood is aboard. According to Deadline, Greenwood will play Gil Garcetti, the Los Angeles District Attorney. Much of the story of the show is told from the vantage point of the attorneys.
In addition to this, Gbenga Akinnagbe also has been cast in the role of Dennis Schatzman, the famed journalist who at the time spoke out about a possible police bias against African-Americans. This is still a subject that has been present in the news lately, so you can connect the story in a sense to present-day headlines.
“Unforgettable” recasting – Sometimes, this is what happens when you move from one network to another. According to a report from TV Guide, Skeet Ulrich has been cast to play the husband of Poppy Montgomery’s casting on the upcoming fourth season of the show, which is going to air on A&E rather than CBS. There have already been a variety of changes for the show, so you should really just consider this for the most part to be the latest in the long line.
