‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: More on Nick Viall’s return, Brady Toops’ big move for Britt Nilsson
You certainly cannot take away from “The Bachelorette” that it definitely had a memorable premiere this week! Over the course of the two nights, we learned that Kaitlyn Bristowe was chosen to be the star of the season, and one guy in Brady Toops left willingly in order to have a shot at dating Britt.
Of course, the biggest shocker of all, though, was saved for the preview for the upcoming season, where it was revealed that contestant Nick Viall from Andi Dorfman’s season returned in hopes of trying to get with Kaitlyn and winning the show. Of course, this is going to make many of the other guys unhappy, since Nick is a guy who was very notorious from his first time around. (Ironically, we’re probably in the minority who really didn’t have a problem with how he acted at the “After the Final Rose” special, since he felt hurt and confused to a certain degree.)
In speaking about this return, and what it means to some of the other guys, host Chris Harrison explained the following to TV Guide:
“He comes back pretty early in the season, when we were in New York. It’s definitely a sticking point for the guys because it’s not just a guy, it’s Nick. Anybody who’s seen the show knows what Nick is like. Adding fuel to the fire would be an understatement. But part of it was jealousy because Kaitlyn decides if he should stay or not.”
Harrison also made it clear that they are not done with the story of Britt and potentially of Brady, even though the two left Tuesday night.
Just for fun, we also have the appearance from Britt on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” below, where she admits that after her elimination, Brady does come and find her in her hotel room. That is, for the time being, all that she can reveal. Who knows? It would be awfully ironic if he and Britt do end up being together long-term after just one night of being a part of a reality TV show.
