‘iZombie’ season 1, episode 11 review: Major learns of zombies, did Ravi find a cure?

There’s only two more episode until the season one finale of “iZombie” and things are really heating up. Major has met another patient, Scott, in the clinic that claims to have seen the zombies as well, and Liv is ready to get revenge for Lowell by taking down Blaine herself.

Now that Major has met Scott who has seen the zombies too, Major is starting to think he isn’t crazy… and the fact that Scott has actual video footage from the boat party of the zombies that was sent to a media friend that he trusted before he was killed tells Major that it’s time to check himself out of the clinic.

Although Major hasn’t seen the footage, he brings it up to Liv who pretends that it’s a crazy idea and we know that once Major finds out that Liv has been keeping this all from him and letting him think that he’s crazy enough to commit himself their relationship will never be repaired.

Liv is really worried about the video getting out, but all Ravi is concerned about is his date with Peyton which turns into a “sort of” double date when Major checks himself out of the clinic and shows up at their house. After having a really fun night, Major is nervous to go home and be alone on his first night out of the clinic and asks to sleep on her couch.

Suzuki tells Blaine that he’s worried about Liv since Lowell and her were dating, and he wonders if she was in on the attempt on his life. Blaine shows up to the morgue to see what Liv is up to and she reveals to Blaine that Scott had a zombie video that’s out there. Liv is able to get to Scott’s phone first, but she’s not the only one looking for the video, it seems that Major and Blaine are as well… more so, Blaine is torching Scott’s apartment. While Blaine is busy lighting up the apartment, Major hides in the trunk of his car and he learns about Blaine’s butcher shop. When Liv finally does find the video, there’s footage of her eating a brain on it… not good.

For those of you that like the Liv and Major relationship, then this was the episode for you since we got to see them spooning in bed together for a moment and even kiss…. of course it was all delusional from the brains that Liv ate. Liv has visions of telling Major she’s a zombie and him embracing her, but in reality he’s stolen five bags of brains from the butcher shop as proof of the zombie infection and tells her that he’s going to kill them all.

We also had Ravi making a break through when it comes to getting a zombie cure, but we suspect that it will still take a while before the cure is able to be tested on Liv. We love this story line and wish that they would focus a little more on the cure since there could be some interesting things to come out of it. Episode grade: B-
