‘Chicago PD’ season 2 finale spoilers: Another tease on the finale ahead

The “Chicago PD” finale is coming up on Wednesday night, and if there is one thing that you can expect to see, it is drama! Granted, you probably knew that this was gong to be coming, but the nature of said drama may still be something that piques your interest.

Specifically, the biggest developments are going to come courtesy of Erin Lindsay, who as you know is going to be on some sort of downward spiral. Speaking on this subject to E! News, Jason Beghe explained that much of the struggle for Sophia Bush’s character is related to how so many different people channel grief:

“Everybody’s still reeling and dealing in their own way with the death of Nadia … And we all have our own ways of coping. Lindsay’s having the hardest time and that’s kind of what we’re looking at—she’s starting to hit the bottle it’s looking like.”

Voight obviously has some of his own demons, but at the same time this doesn’t appear to be something that will surface necessarily in the finale. NBC is not expecting this show to be going anywhere in the near future, and with that in mind, there is going to be plenty of time for the series to explore new developments with some of their characters. “Chicago PD” has already been confirmed to be returning in the fall, and unless the show decides that they want to kill someone off, we imagine that the vast majority of the cast is going to be back for more.
