‘The Bachelorette’ spotlight: Meet Shawn Evans, hot tub driver (seriously)
Shawn Evans may have one of the most ridiculous introductions in the history of “The Bachelorette.” You are going to see him in the premiere, specifically doing something that we have a hard time fathoming as possible: Driving a car that also doubles as a hot tub. It’s a really funny / cheeky moment, one that is completely ruined by another guy in Ryan McGill taunting him from inside the house.
As a character, Shawn seems to be somewhat wacky, and we have no actual clue how he is going to do in the competition. At least if Kaitlyn Bristowe is picked, she can rejoice the fact that there is another Canadian on the season! They are always in short supply on this show.

Age – 31
Hometown – London, Ontario
Occupation – “Amateur sex coach,” which to us reads mostly like “guy who likes to have sex.” His Twitter account also says he is a realtor, but that does not sound as funny for a bio. He also claims to be a pilot and a DJ, which suggests that he many have many jobs without actually having a job.
First impression – He seems like a fun guy! He’s probably someone you could go out and have a drink with while watching the big game, and he will probably have all sorts of stories to entertain you in the process.
Worst impression – Unfortunately, at the same time he also feels quite a bit like he’s going to just be seen as a goofball on the show. Also, the guy gives us way too much information on what his perfect date would be on his ABC bio. Go luck it up if you are so inclined, as we’re not sure that everyone wants nearly as much information as he is willing to offer up.
Prediction – Shawn seems like fun, but we have to be real here and say that he is most likely an early boot. We just cannot imagine him really getting the attention or the affection that is needed to go far.
