‘Game of Thrones’ season 5, episode 6 spoilers: Weddings and returns

Just in case you have not had enough of seeing weddings on “Game of Thrones” as of late, we come bearing some further news today: More are coming soon!

Per a report from Entertainment Weekly, you are going to get an opportunity this Sunday to see the nuptials for Sansa Stark and Ramsay Bolton. We imagine that this will be quite the political affair, and not entirely a happy one beyond the superficial smiles. Sansa is a smarter woman now than she was even a year or two ago. Namely, she knows better now how to play the game. This is just not a world where she can get easily everything that she wants. Sometimes she just has to grin and bear it, and this is precisely what she may need to do here. If she sticks with the wedding and nothing happens terribly, maybe the plan of Littlefinger (pictured) will turn out to be a success.

If nothing else, at least the show is on somewhat of a wedding streak! Nothing terrible happened for Tommen and Margaery during their big ceremony earlier this season.

The same report also hints that there will be some sort of surprise return that takes place during the episode Sunday, and there are not necessarily many candidates just yet for who that could be beyond just tallying those who have not turned up as of late. We are now at that point in the show where book readers no longer have this intrinsic advantage; the story of the show is almost caught up for one, but also it has diverged in many ways from the path in order to keep from throwing dozens of other characters on the screen.
