The CW Upfronts: Watch trailers for ‘Legends of Tomorrow,’ ‘My Crazy Ex-Girlfrield’

We are still in the midst of all sorts of insanity when it comes to network upfront season, but we at least now do have an opportunity to share what are the exciting first trailers for a pair of all-important series coming up on The CW.

“My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” – This is the only new series airing on the network this fall, and we have to say that if it turns out to be anything like it is in the trailer, it could be really quite good and in the same silly vein as “Jane the Virgin.” It seems to be a satirical, tongue-in-cheek take on a woman who decides to move all the way from New York City to West Covina in order to to chase the guy of her dreams. Apparently, there are also musical numbers and giant pretzels. This could either be the next “Jane the Virgin,” or some sort of ill-advised attempt at being different that will be canceled quickly. It least it is an attempt to push the envelope, so we’ll give the show some credit for that.

“Legends of Tomorrow” – This is the show that almost everyone is the most excited about, and while the promo below is not exactly the most revealing one in the world, we do learn quite a bit. First and foremost, be prepared for Vandal Savage to be the big bad for the season! He is a man who is seemingly immortal, and is an archenemy of Rip Hunter, one of the man characters in this show who will help this entire team to come together.

Also, you get your first look in here at Caity Lotz, who is going to be playing White Canary. We expect something / someone very different from the comics in here (since that character has only a tiny presence there).
