‘Arrow’ season 3 finale podcast: Talking ‘My Name Is Oliver Queen,’ season 4, more with Jessa
We’ve made it now to the final “Arrow” podcast, and we know that we’ve been off for a few weeks. At the top of this new edition we explain why, and much of it has to do solely with the way that the story has progressed this season. It hasn’t been great.
While we do spend some time in this new edition, co-hosted by Matt Carter and Jessa, discussing what didn’t work in the finale and the past few episodes as a whole, we do get into some other subjects, as well. This includes talking a little about what we did like from the final three episodes this season, the characters who are in a good spot going into season 4, why Laurel in particular was handled extremely well.
Also, there’s a lot of news to discuss in this podcast as well! We talk the state of “The Flash,” the state of crossovers in general, the new “Supergirl” trailer, and the rumors regarding “Legends of Tomorrow.” A quick programming note here is that we recorded this prior to the trailer being released for that today (hence our Sara Lance theory seemingly to be wrong), but after the CW upfront presentation. We at least knew that Caity Lotz was going to be playing the White Canary, even if we were not particularly aware of everything in between.
In the end, this completes a crazy season! As always, subscribe to the iTunes link here if you want some other podcasts delivered to you. This summer we are going to get into covering “The Bachelorette” and much more.
