‘Chicago PD’ season 2, episode 22 preview: To stop a gunman

“Chicago PD” is getting very close to its season 2 finale, but for whatever reason the producers are still being extremely coy on what to expect in the hour. How else do you explain a sneak peek below that does not even make an effort to really try to explain what is going on in the story?

This peek revolves mostly on the attempts of Voight and many others in the team to try and stop a gunman, and it is ultimately one that does end with the gunman in handcuffs. Therefore, you can at least chalk this up as a success story for the department. It’s an interesting preview to watch from the standpoint of action, and if you like this side of the show, you will probably be pleased.

Of course, we anticipate somewhat of a letdown factor here considering that last night on the “Chicago Fire” finale, we had the big reveal about Dawson and questions over what happened to Casey. Given that the finale here is not until next week, it may take a little bit of time and effort for this show to get on the same sort of level when it comes to overall shock value.

Ultimately, let’s just hope that this story delivers something more than just some cool cop moments; we do at least know that there is going to be a big Lindsay story as she continues to try to work through the death of Nadia. The fear of her slipping back into her old ways will very much be present.
