NBC’s ‘The Voice’ results: Did #VoiceSave keep India Carney or Koryn Hawthorne alive?

Voice -The last results show of “The Voice” prior to the finale aired on Tuesday night, and based on iTunes sales alone, it was fairly easy to project how the results were going to go: Sawyer Fredericks and Meghan Linsey were going to be declared safe, which meant that Koryn Hawthorne, India Carney, and Joshua Davis would fight for the final two spots.

For Joshua, he was fairly lucky in that the public kept him safe before we even got to the live voting. He’s done a good job at appealing to a certain audience the past few weeks; while he is a definite longshot to win, making it to the finale is at least a nice move to get you on the road to career longevity. This meant that Koryn Hawthorne and India Carney were then the two who were going to be forced to face off in the vocal battle of the season. We actually do not think that whoever makes it through is a complete write-off to win the show; they were both relatively similar vocalists, and maybe the audience of one will flock to another.

As for our personal pick, we’re going here with Koryn, mostly because her recent body of work has been better than almost any other contestant as of late. While we didn’t love her two performances last night as much, her potential is completely through the roof.

Maybe the results tonight were just easy to call. India Carney is eliminated, and yet again Christina Aguilera loses out on a chance for a winner. This season, we’re a little stunned given that we loved her team going into the live rounds, and we still don’t know how Kimberly Nichole is gone.
