‘The Following’ season 3 finale / (possible) series finale spoilers: First details
While “The Following” may already be officially canceled on Fox, the story for Ryan Hardy and company is not exactly over … at least not yet. There are two more episodes left for the Kevin Bacon series airing next week, and these will help to adequately close the door on a series that has had quite a bit going for it over the course of the past few weeks. The search for Theo is still continuing, and there is go guarantee that the team is going to be able to catch him. Given that this series was filmed before its fate was known, it’s to be seen just if there was some sort of fitting end crafted to the story.
For some more news in terms of what to expect right now from these final two episodes, check out the official synopsis:
“The FBI hunt for Theo continues and the stakes are higher than ever as some of their own come under attack. As suspicions rise, alliances are shaken and no one is safe in the harrowing final heart-stopping moments on the all-new, special two-hour “Dead or Alive/The Reckoning” Season Finale episode.”
We’re really not sure what we want to see in this episode, mostly because we are not sure that this is a series that can really create a simple ending for itself. We want to think that Ryan will be able to stop Theo and start to find peace for himself, but that hasn’t happened yet. Why would we think it would happen now?
