‘Orange Is The New Black’ season 3 trailer promises more Piper and Alex
Fans of “Orange Is The New Black” have been waiting for a year to get new episodes of the show, and in one more month we will be able to turn off our phones, lock our doors and binge watch all 14 new episodes of the show. Apologies now to everyone trying to get a hold of us on June 12th… we will be in a glorious little prison of our own making watching every episode back to back and nothing else is going to exist. We can’t wait! With that being said, Netflix has been pretty generous with with fans by putting out another new trailer for the series that has lots of new footage in it (which you can check out for yourself below). We had a chance to see an extend version of Cindy’s shower room dance routine and we are hoping that because she is featured so prominently in the trailer that we are going to get a bigger story arc for her this season since we can’t deny our love for this character.
It also looks like Alex will be returning to jail – which surprises no one since prison seems to have a revolving door when it comes to her. If you were hoping for more Piper and Alex this season, it looks like you’re going to get it, but there seems to be another new girl on the block that may have eyes for Piper too… and she’s stunningly beautiful. It’s about time that there was another possible love interest for Piper to give the Alex romance story another layer since there’s only so many times we want to watch Piper going down that rabbit hole with Alex only to get screwed over again.
Over all, what this trailer really does is remind us that this show has a fantastic cast with incredible chemistry. On top of that the writing has always been strong and they are really great at giving us a lot of back ground on these characters with a very short episode run – something that is very hard to do, but that they have executed beautifully for two seasons in a row. We have high expectations for this season.
