ABC’s ‘Revenge’ series finale: Could there ever be season 5, Nolan spin-off show
By most accounts, Sunday night marked the series finale of “Revenge” and we have to simply live with that. The show is over, and the ratings just were not good enough for it to continue. Even while filming the episode, the production team at least knew that it was possible that this would be the end of the road, even if it was not confirmed just yet.
With that, one thing that producers did that we found interesting was the setup for Nolan Ross to continue to hunt down people down bad things, almost in a way that he could be the new Amanda Clarke in a way. Is this something that the show could be looking to build on somehow, as a season 5 or a potential spin-off show? Executive producer Sunil Nayar is aware of the possibilities of that happening (which are slim), but he did tell TVLine that he is open to it:
“I think the network is going to hear what the excited response has been to that, and if I was over there, I’d certainly discuss it. So it’s out of my hands, but I think it’s a fun idea.”
Ultimately, the biggest thing that “Revenge” can celebrate is strictly that they had a nice run as it is. It aired for long enough to make an impact on pop-culture, and it gave many cast members including Emily VanCamp and Gabriel Mann an opportunity to do something cool. Even if this does mark the end of the road for the show, it is still something they can be happy with.

As cool as that would be, I am sick of listening to whiny fans that make Star Wars purists look chill. As much as I will miss Revenge, I will not miss the whiny alleged fans playing plot hole cards and griping when a pointless character leaves or gets killed off.
