‘Game of Thrones’ season 5, episode 6 preview: Maisie Williams, Peter Dinklage, and ‘Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken’

Arya -Can you believe that we are already at the halfway point of “Game of Thrones” season 5? It is definitely an insane thing to think about, but that does not make it any less true now. This is probably just fuel for some of you out there that would want to see more episodes a season beyond ten, though we are not entirely sure that this is possible.

While you should expect more developments in the Arya and Tyrion storylines next week for “Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken,” what surprises us about the shorty synopsis below from HBO is the heavy emphasis on Dorne. Maybe this is going to be the installment that really delivers when it comes to this particular part of the world:

“Arya (Maisie Williams) trains. Jorah (Iain Glen) and Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) run into slavers. Trystane (Toby Sebastian) and Myrcella (Nell Tiger Free) make plans. Jaime and Bronn reach their destination. The Sand Snakes attack.”

Will this be the part of the story where truly insane things happy? Sure, but we do not think that this is a show that never really needed to find an excuse. We’ve been expecting more of Myrcella in particular for a good while now, mostly because the character had to be recast for a reason. This is a similar tactic that we saw with Tommen, right before his story accelerated and he started to get some more time in the spotlight last season.
