‘Survivor: Worlds Apart’ episode 13 preview: Does Mike Holloway have a hope?
We, like most of America at this point, are hoping that Mike Holloway somehow finds a way to survive on “Survivor: Worlds Apart.” Unfortunately, we have a hard time seeing him make it to the top five unless he finds a way to win immunity.
What are the reasons to keep him? The promo after last night’s episode suggests that he could have a chance, but to us the only way we really envision such a thing happening is if someone decides that they have no shot of making it to the end unless they use him as a number. They have to realize that he wins if they make it there, so this is totally a move to give them second place rather than maybe fifth or sixth. Maybe they think they could use him for a vote or two, then get rid of him before the final three if they have a shot.
Now, the reasons to get rid of Mike: He’s likable, has a great story, and is loved by most of the people on the jury. Even someone like Tyler, who was targeted by Mike for weeks, will probably still vote for him to win just out of respect for his game. He does not strike us as any sort of bitter juror in the slightest.
We hope that the promo giving us hope is something that was actually present out there at the beach, and not just misdirection for an episode where Mike is the obvious boot. We suppose we will learn that in a matter of days.
