Are you ready for some surprising times on “Chicago Fire“? We are now a mere week away from the episode “Spartacus,” which is going to be jam-packed with a variety of intense stories as we start to wonder whether or not another member of firehouse 51 could die before we get to the closing minutes. Death has been a reality on this show for some time, but after what happened with Shay in the early going, we’re really not that interested in seeing any more of it transpire.
If you have not seen it already, the synopsis for the finale should give you a pretty sense of what you can expect to see. Let’s just say for now that there will be some surprises at almost every turn:
“Lt. Casey (Jesse Spencer) puts his life on the line and digs deeper into the shady dealings of Jack Nesbitt (guest star Eric Mabius). With members of truck and squad at odds over Rice’s (guest star Warren Christie) actions in the field, Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) is left to figure out how to create unity in a divided house, while Severide (Taylor Kinney) comes to question his own judgment. A dangerous warehouse blaze quickly gets out of control and threatens members of firehouse 51, prompting Boden and Cruz (Joe Minoso) to risk everything to save their own. Elsewhere, Dawson (Monica Raymund) gets some life-changing news.”
One thing that you should expect definitely is more of Rice. Given all of the departures that we’ve had on the show, early buzz is that he could be given a larger promotion moving into season 4. That will be a big year for the show in general, given that we also have the “Chicago Med” series on the way.
