‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ reunion preview: Watch Kandi Burruss, Phaedra Parks get emotional

We have to admit here first and foremost that we are surprised that this season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” is still going on, mostly because it is starting to feel like this show is almost year-round. Bravo loves generating money from it, but before we know it we could end up seeing a situation where it actually happens.

But our silly criticism on this show’s billion-episode orders is not why we are here! Instead, we have come to speak about the subject matter in the sneak peek below, which for the most part revolves around learning a thing or two more about some of the conflict between Kandi Burruss and Phaedra Parks. It has existed for much of the end of this season, and the reason why their relationship has started to fall apart is somewhat heartbreaking: It is all a matter of feeling wanting. Kandi feels like Phaedra (pictured) has not given her the time of day lately; she feels like she is doing most of the work, and not being ultimately appreciated for the things that she is bringing to the table.

By the end of this episode, we would like to claim that things will be better for these two, but we doubt it. What we tend to find is that reconciliation is hard on this show when you have cameras beating down into your face and constant people telling you what to do or how you should feel about things. Sometimes, the better thing to do is to just find a way to fix things when the cameras are not rolling.

Who knows, though? We cannot rule out the possibility of a surprise.
