‘Mad Men’ season 7, episode 12 video: Assorted clips from ‘Lost Horizon’ (plus the window!)
At this given point in time, we’ve all seen the “Mad Men” theme song enough to start speculating about what it could mean for Don Draper and his fate at the end of the show. Is Don really about to jump to his death? We always thought that show creator Matthew Weiner was far too sharp to try to do something anywhere near this literal. It would be the sort of move that would just incite groans all over the country.
With that in mind, we do think AMC is trolling us with that end shot of the promo below for Sunday night’s “Lost Horizon,” mostly because we see no logical or interesting reason why the show would want to do that. It is so predictable and ultimately so disinteresting a way for this guy to go. We don’t envision him having a song-and-dance like Cooper to close out there series, but we would definitely like to hope that it is something a little bit better than that.
As for another notable moment of the promo, Harry Crane is back. You’re welcome, world. We are not entirely sure anyone really wanted to see Harry on the show again after the whole Megan debacle, but you are getting him anyway.
Also, Roger still has this mustache, and Peggy is doing something with flowers. There are some clips in here that are so mundane, we almost feel like we are watching some sort of live feed of the characters’ day-to-day lives. It wouldn’t be a surprise if next week we had one featuring Pete making a sandwich.

Peggy is cool. Joan is fierce. Don is lost.
