‘The Blacklist’ season 2, episode 21 preview: The Megan Boone – James Spader story in ‘Karakurt’

The Blacklist logo any seasonWhere do you think “The Blacklist” will take us next? There are only two more episodes left before we get to the end of the season, and you better believe that there will be a few more shockers by the time we get to the final seconds of the finale. What could they include? Think along the lines of some answers to some long-standing Liz Keen and Reddington questions.

“Karakurt” will really begin the journey next week, and based on the synopsis below, you should definitely expect quite a few shockers that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Thankfully, Cooper is going to continue to have a meaty story, which should be something that satisfies some of you out there hoping for stronger parts from the supporting characters:

“Following intel from Red (James Spader), the FBI find themselves one-step behind the most dangerous Russian Assassin, Karakurt, an enemy on U.S. soil. To avoid catastrophe, Liz (Megan Boone) and Ressler meet with Russian Counter-Intelligence who offer insight not only on Karakurt, but also on the identity of Liz’s mother. Cooper (Harry Lennix) finds himself in a compromising position.”

By the end of this episode, we hope that there count be a few other surprises that we cannot see coming even a mile away. The very strong thing about at least the end of this season is that they have brought in more of Tom, made more complicated relationships, and had some more interesting villains to go along with that. In order to really keep interest from waning further than it has since the move to Thursdays, the show needs to end on a high note.
