ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4: Emily VanCamp, Gabriel Mann, more lament cancellation on social media

As many of you probably know already, “Revenge” is going to be ending its run on ABC after four seasons in May. That is not a particularly easy thing to swallow, but as we said, it was expected. The ratings are not great, and really have not been great for a long time. Why would the network bring something back when it was not pulling the numbers it used to, and also seems to be reasonably close to an end creatively?

Below, you can get some of the first reactions from the cancellation from the likes of Emily VanCamp (Emily Thorne / Amanda Clarke), Gabriel Mann (Nolan), Elena Satine (Louise), and more. You get the sense from them that this was a show that really enjoyed doing, even if it did come to a close a little bit before they were prepared to say goodbye. Even someone like Barry Sloane, who has not been on the show for a good year, was still kind enough to share some of his thoughts.

So how will the series end? We are certainly afraid for Emily’s fate in particular, given that the series finale is entitled “Two Graves,” and we would assume already that one of these graves holds Victoria. The other is most likely reserved for Ms. Thorne at least metaphorically, and it is up to her to figure out whether or not this is where she ends up.
