‘iZombie’ episode 8 preview: Liv gets personal (blame the new brain!)
Part of the fun of “iZombie” comes from the title character Liv, and we imagine that Rose McIver must have a field day sometimes when she gets some of the scripts at her door. While she is the same character every week, the brains that she consumes give her so many different and fun facets to explore. Ultimately, think of this as a chance for her to figure out new things about herself every single day… or herself through the mind of someone else.
The next new episode of the CW series is entitled “Dead Air,” and based on the synopsis and the promo below, relationships could be a theme. Despite having a unique ability, it’s still clear that Liv finds a way to partake in at least a few things that are reminiscent of a normal life:
“Liv (Rose McIver) and Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) work together to solve the murder of a morning radio talk show host who specialized in relationship straight talk. Liv becomes filled to the brim with insight after consuming the brains, making Clive extremely uncomfortable when Liv starts getting personal. Meanwhile, Peyton (guest star Ali Michalka “Easy A”) steps in to help Major (Robert Buckley), and Blaine (David Anders) issues a warning. Lastly, Ravi’s (Rahul Kohli) unexpected romantic connection has the potential to make things awkward for Liv.”
As we start to get closer and closer to the end of the season, much of the entertainment is going to be figuring out what case is put before her, and how this one impacts her surrounding world.
