‘Mad Men’ season 10, episode 12 preview: Jon Hamm, Christina Hendricks’ story in ‘Lost Horizon’
Take a minute to breathe this in: There are only three episodes of “Mad Men” left. This show has given us little notes of what could be a stellar ending to the series, but there is still more to come. This leads us to “Lost Horizon,” which is the new installment airing on Sunday night. First and foremost, we do have to say that this is an incredible title. It gives us a little taste of the tone of this story, and it also suggests that we could be in a futile situation for some of our favorite characters.
As per usual, there is not much to go with this episode, given how coy AMC and Matthew Weiner like to be with this show. Instead, what we have for now is the short synopsis below:
“Don receives a reward for his work; Joan butts heads with a coworker on an account; Roger dodges a big decision.”
Ultimately, what we are the most surprised about here is that we’re getting to see the focus placed on Joan again, and for one simple reason: We were actually starting to think that her story with Richard was going to be endgame for Christina Hendricks’ character. As for Don and Roger, we’ll go ahead and be honest here when we say that we definitely expected to see more of them before the story ended … though we’re glad that much of the story is firm-related.

I want to see more of Sally and Don together in these last three episodes.
