‘The Following’ season 3 spoilers: Prepare for many two-hour episodes
As we get close to the end of “The Following” season 3, Fox is going to be doing everything that it can to have this story told. At times, this also means that they will be cramming as much as humanly possible in before the end of May sweeps. With that in mind, we present to you a few notes now on the scheduling. Monday night brings you “Evermore,” the installment that could bring you the death of Joe Carroll depending on how that execution goes (somehow, he has managed to survive these attempts at taking his life so far). Following this, we will have “Demons,” which will air alongside the finale of “Gotham.”
At this point, though, you better prepare for a set of mini-movies in a way, since they are episodes airing back-to-back the first example will come on Monday, May 11, as the episodes “The Edge” and “A Simple Trade” will air right next to each other. Fox has even released a synopsis alread:
“An increasingly reckless Ryan continues his search for Theo, as Mark and Daisy discover information that leads them closer to the FBI than ever and puts Mike in a dangerous situation. Then, a deadly deal is made, but things don’t go as planned, and Ryan makes a decision for his future.”
The final two episodes of the season will air the following week on the 18th, but Fox is still being incredibly coy as to what you can expect there.
