‘Silicon Valley’ season 2, episode 3 preview: First look at ‘Bad Money’
Is there good money when it comes to “Silicon Valley“? It is kind of hard to say, but “Bad Money” is the title for Sunday night’s new episode, and it is seemingly very much a reference to the latest arrival into the world of the show, a man who seems to have billions plus a perfect smile plus a variety of other things that make us believe that he is extremely seedy.
If you recall from this past episode of the series, we had a chance to see a story that was mostly all about the complete failures of Pied Piper to find themselves a new investor. They were falling apart thanks to the Hooli lawsuit, and nobody wanted to touch them with a ten-foot pole. Now that someone out there is suddenly interested, it is pretty fair to wonder just what sort of game he is ultimately playing. While all of the creepy deception? You really should be worried for the time being about what he has up his sleeve.
Sadly, the promo below does not offer up too much more in the way of insight, and we really wish it did given that we feel like this season is starting to really push forward in the right direction now. The premiere at times moved a tad slowly, but ended strong with the lawsuit reveal (and at Peter Gregory’s funeral no less). Now, we are starting to get the true sense of Richard’s terrible predicament. While he has a great product, there may not be any way to get it off the ground.
We’ll be back later with more on the show, including a review of Sunday’s episode. Stay tuned!
