‘Britain’s Got Talent’ preview: Can IMD Dance Crew make it far?

Do we have the best dance crew on “Britain’s Got Talent” this season appearing during tonight’s episode? We’re not sure that you can say that completely just yet, but there is little doubt that IMD Dance Crew has some serious talent. They are slick, have cool shirts, and there are some members of it who can do some impressive things. What’s important to us is that even the young kids seem actually involved. Sometimes, we have seen crews who just have kids do a move or two, and then just kind of hang out like some sort of mascot.

With any dance crew, the obvious issue is going to be standing out. It’s a little more difficult on them than singers when it comes to repetition. A singer can come up and find a new way to move an audience every week by changing around tempos and genres. It’s harder for a crew to adapt over multiple appearances, and really tap into something deeper. There have also been so many talented ones on the show already.

In going back to answering the question we first introduced in this article, it is probably a little early to say that IMD Dance Crew is better than Boyband from last week, mostly because they are two very different groups. Boyband is a much smaller crew, and there is a little more humor injected into what they do. This group is based more around intensity and powerful movements from a wide array of people.
