‘American Horror Story: Hotel’ spoilers: Evan Peters officially checks in
For the longest time, Evan Peters was one of the last remaining major question marks for “American Horror Story: Hotel,” at least for people who were a part of the series from the very beginning onward. We know now that Sarah Paulson is going to be a part of the upcoming cast, and now Evan is officially on board, as well. Cue some of the celebrations!
As for who he will be playing, unfortunately there is still a little bit of a mystery surrounding that. All we have is the tweet below from executive producer Ryan Murphy. Peters joins a cast that for this season is more male-fronted than the show has been in many years. Wes Bentley and Matt Bomer, who each had guest-starring appearances on this past season subtitled “Freak Show,” are going to be regulars on the new season. They are going to be joined by Cheyenne Jackson, who Murphy worked with briefly on “Glee.” As for the women, Lady Gaga is the notable newcomer to the series, and she is being joined by the likes of Chloe Sevigny and Kathy Bates.
As for who we are still waiting to hear more news about, we have not heard official news yet regarding either Denis O’Hare or Angela Bassett. It is safe to say that Emma Roberts is most-likely gone, given that she is currently working on a different Murphy series in “Scream Queens” alongside Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, and others.
The only guess we can make about Peters here is that he is some sort of creepy bellhop. Let’s just hope that this is a more engaging role than what he’s had on either of the past two seasons. Kit Walker to us is by and away his best character, and it is really not particularly close.
