‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 5 spoilers: Michelle Borth will return … but when?

Did you think that you had seen the last of Catherine on “Hawaii Five-0“? well, prepare to think again! Actress Michelle Borth is going to be back for the end of the season, and will hopefully be bringing back a little bit of nostalgia for some people out there. After all, her relationship with McGarrett lasted an extremely long time, and she is certainly well-known and a key part of the show.

Well, we definitely know now that Borth will be coming back! Per TVLine, she will be returning specifically for the second part of the May 8 season finale, which happens to feature the wedding of Kono and Adam. This is certainly the appropriate time to see this character turn up again, since she does carry with her so many emotional connections to the past.

As for whether or not she could have a permanent spot on the show again, that will probably depend on the character’s work overseas, Borth’s availability, and also what the series has in store for next season. At the moment, we doubt it for the most part. After all, we are not even sure that there is going to be a next season for the most part. The ratings have not exactly been stellar, but the show is aided in part thanks to it airing on Friday night.
