ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7 spoilers: Full Stana Katic – Nathan Fillion ‘Dead from New York’ details
Who would want to murder a fictional Lorne Michaels? This is the question at the center of “Dead from New York,” the penultimate episode of “Castle” season 7 airing on Monday, May 4. We are going to find out in this episode whether or not “Saturday Night Tonight” has as much darkness underneath the surface as some have speculated about “Saturday Night Live” over the years. Just in case that storyline isn’t really for you, there’s also an appearance from Carly Rae Jepsen, who ironically performed on the real-life sketch show just a few weeks ago.
We’re not going to pretend that there is anything too shocking in the synopsis below, but this may at least give you a better sense of what Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic’s characters will be specifically doing within this world to solve the case:
“When Sid Ross, the powerful creator of a long-running sketch comedy show is killed, Castle and Beckett are called to investigate. But as they delve into the victim’s life and the colorful world of “Saturday Night Tonight,” they uncover a shocking secret that may explain Sid’s murder. Carly Rae Jepsen is featured as a musical guest.”
At some point during this episode we are hoping to see another note or two regarding what could be coming up on the show next. Specifically, we are talking here about a potential chance to see if Beckett is going to look to move up the professional ladder further, or if there is something that could take Rick back to the events of “Sleeper,” the episode airing on ABC Monday night.
