‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ preview: Latest on Kandi Burruss, Todd Tucker, Mama Joyce

There is going to be one moment on Sunday night’s new “Real Housewives of Atlanta” episode where you are going to want to announce to everyone to stop the presses. After all, when was the last time that we saw Mama Joyce apologize for anything? Let’s just say that this is not a particularly regular occurrence.

So why does she do it in the video below? It is really so simple as her wanting to try to get off on a better foot with Kandi Burruss’ husband Todd Tucker, especially after she previously insulted his mother. It is nice that she has made a little bit of effort. However, at the same time, one of the biggest issues that Joyce could still face here is whether or Todd legitimately thinks that she is being sincere. It is very well possible that he could just see right through most of what she is saying, and really opt to not take almost any of it seriously … even if she is sincere.

At the end of the day, one of the things that you probably need to remember above all else here is mostly that Joyce is almost always going to remain a part of this series no matter how long it goes. Maybe she is upset about a house, or maybe she is upset about Todd; it really doesn’t matter. It just always seems as though she is particularly upset about something.

We’ll get a better sense of where everyone is when the reunion takes place next week.
