‘The Good Wife’ season 6 finale spoilers: First (mysterious) details
At the moment, CBS is not exactly being liberal when it comes to sharing how “The Good Wife” plans on ending season 6, but we definitely understand. It doesn’t take a whole lot of thinking to figure out why they would want to keep coy. After all, this is a show that has the challenge of having to write out Kalinda (Archie Panjabi), and they do want to give even a sliver away of what they plan to do there.
As a matter of fact, the network has yet to even give away the title for their May 10 episode that will wrap up the story for now. (While it has not been officially renewed for a seventh season, we feel pretty strongly that this will happen.) The synopsis below is definitely intriguing, but it doesn’t tell you much directly:
“When Alicia (Julianna Margulies) gets a suspicious call from a client, she discovers that he’s being held in a secret police facility where people are detained without being officially booked.”
Who is this client? That is the big question here. We cannot tell you this, but we can tell you that Michael J. Fox will back at some point during this episode as Louis Canning. Given the amount of time we have seen Fox on this season, we almost wonder if producers would consider a series-regular promotion for him next season. He is tremendous, and one of the many wonderful people that Robert and Michelle King have in their arsenal of big names they can pull out at any given moment.
The next new episode of “The Good Wife” airs on April 26, and you better believe that we’ll have further information on it before it premieres.
