‘Orphan Black’ season 3 spoilers: What’s the general theme of new story?
The third season of “Orphan Black” will be premiering on BBC America come this Saturday, and this does mark an opportunity to see some more captivating and potentially shocking stories ahead featuring Sarah Manning and some of the clones we have come to know so well. Now, though, the adding twist is that these are not the only clones we’re looking to see! We have a wide array of them, and they are people who bring to the table a variety of shocking skills and backgrounds. These Ari Millen characters added to the world set up by Tatiana Maslany and her many parts, and this has us certainly excited to see what happened.
Rather than diving into the pool in this story, though, we wanted to at least take a moment and wade through some general details. Specifically, we’re talking here about answering one key question: What is the thematic overview for the season? This is something explained in part by executive producer John Fawcett to TVLine:
“With the introduction of Project Castor and the male clones, it’s certainly [about] jumping down that rabbit hole now. That’s a whole new aspect to the mystery of the existence of the girls, of who the original may be, of their biology. It’s still very much a mystery that is focused through the eyes of Sarah Manning, but this is a big new layer to the conspiracy.”
We’re already hearing about some other interesting dynamics regarding Rachel and Cosima, and let’s just say that above all else, health could be an issue there. The good news for Rachel is simply that she is alive.
